On Friday, September 21st, 2018 eighteen people from UB Media Publishing, Universitas Brawijaya took work visit to UGM Press. The group consisted of the board of executive and the staffs came to tighten the cooperation between cross-university publishers in Indonesia to build up the knowledge and experience. “We look up UGM Press effort to be a productive publisher that published many qualified books and bringing up the UGM reputation in national and international,” said Dr. Ir. Anthon Efani, MP, represented UB Media, Universitas Brawijaya. This visit was welcomed by M. Iwan Setiawan as UGM Press’s office and financial coordinator. The major agenda was about system study excursion or strategy that used by UGM Press in publishing management.
By the meeting, they tied discuss about organization system between UGM Press and BPP UGM, manuscript publishing, production, and marketing. In the discussion, also there question session by Samsul Ma’arif as Publisher Coordinator, Tumin as printing coordinator, and Febriarto Wahyu aji as marketing coordinator from UGM press. “This discussion will be made a recommendation for UB Media Universitas Brawijaya in order to build a system and strategy for publishing and printing. Communication between UGM Press and UB Media Universitas Brawijaya can continue to be well established in the future, “concluded Anthon Efani while saying goodbye to the ranks of the UGM Coordinator Press
