Welcoming the National Book Day which falls on May 17, 2019, UGM Press through the brand “The Place of Quality Books” organizes discount programs from 30% to 50% for customers.
UGM Manager Press, Dr. I Wayan Mustika, said that this program would be an annual activity held to welcome the National Book Day with the slogan: “Let’s cultivate reading for a better Indonesia!” And “Let’s buy original books!”.
“Customers can shop UGM Press books online by accessing the website http://ugmpress.ugm.ac.id/id,” said Dr. Wayan at UGM Press office, Bulaksumur, Sleman, Friday (5/17).
He considered that by giving discounts or book discounts, it was able to increase book sales so that a culture of reading books and buying original books would arise.
