UGM Publishers and Publications Board (BPP) received a visit from Lembaga Pengembangan Publikasi Ilmiah (LPPI) on Thursday, January 9, 2020. Secretary of BPP UGM, Dr. Mutiah Amini, S. Hum., was accompanied by Head of Publication Subdivision (Siti Uswatun Hasanah, S. TP.) and Head of Journal Subdivision (Syahrul Fauzi, S. Pt., M. Pd.), were cordially welcomed the visit of LPPI UMM which was represented by Dr. Fardini Sabilah, M. Pd as the Head of LPPI UMM in BPP meeting room of UGM Central Building, west side of the 3rd floor. Secretary, Administration Staff, and IT Staff of LPPI UMM were also attended the visitation.
The visitation lasted for three hours had been the right occasion to share experience about the management of journals and scholarly publications in UGM. LPPI UMM were enthusiastically concerned about writing especially scientific articles by UGM’s academics so that it brings UGM reached a high number of publications. BPP introduced grant programs and UGM Digital Press along with migration process of UGM journals to OJS’s database. UGM Press as the university publishers took part in the enhancement of scholarly publications, especially in tractate’s publishing.
In order to escalate the publication management, the purpose of visit was aimed to give a positive impact on publications in Indonesia more broadly. [Adinda]
