The book entitled Tak Kenal Maka Tak Sayang: Qualitative Research in Health Services by Professor of FKKMK UGM, Prof. dr. Adi Utarini, M.Sc., MPH., Ph.D. was reviewed on event held on February 20, 2020. Hundreds of participants and several important guests attended the event located at the Tahir Building on the first floor of FKKMK UGM. Head of BPP UGM, Widodo, M.Sc., Ph.D., opened the event and expressed his appreciation for the work of Prof. Uut – the nickname of the author – and his great expectations related to qualitative research in health services field. As the manager of UGM Press, Dr. I Wayan Mustika, M. Eng. expressed his appreciation and pride due to the trust given to UGM Press for publishing the book.

The event intends to introduce books on qualitative research in health services field. As a writer, Prof. Uut conveyed her impression of qualitative research which is generally very rarely used in the health field. The use of qualitative methods in the field of health, especially medicine, can be used as a key to exploring the complexity of the health care system. In addition, the author stated that observing using qualitative methods is like life that must be lived and interpreted with tenacity and diligence, especially in analyzing problems at the root to find answers or solutions. The book review event received a lot of enthusiasm from the researchers in attendance. The event was closed by Prof. Uut playing the piano collaborated with one of the violinists who were former members of the Gadjah Mada Chamber Orchestra. [Rozy&Adinda]
