UGM Press Opens Discussion of Plans for Popular Book Publishing with Social and Cultural Experts

UGM Press is a college publisher in Indonesia that has published tractates and a number of translated books consistently since 1971. UGM Press is increasingly developing in publishing tractates, for research activities and dedication to the UGM’s academics. At the age of 5 decades, UGM Press intends to raise the history and culture of nusantara as a popular book showing the uniqueness and richness of Indonesia internationally. This project will lift up the topics of literature, history and culture of Indonesia in the form of popular tractates to attract readers without eliminating the elements of research and authorship ethics. UGM Press invited socio-cultural experts to take part in a group discussion forum held at Gadjah Mada University Club Hotel on Tuesday, February 11, 2020. Present in the discussion Dr. Agus Suwignyo, Dr. Aprinus Salam, M. Hum., Dr. Septiana Dwiputri Maharani, Amirullah Setya Hardi, Cand. Oecon., Ph.D., and Dr. Khotibul Umam, S.H., LL.M.
