In remembrance of 71 years of Pertempuran Plantaran (battle between Taruna Akademi Militer versus The Netherlands), UGM Press introduced a book entitled “Akademi Militer Yogyakarta: Dalam Perjuangan Fisik 1945-1949” written by Moehkardi on Saturday (22/02).

The introduction was organized by Ikatan Keluarga Akademi Militer Yogyakarta which took place at Horison Ultima Riss Hotel. Theme of this event was ‘Roles of The Indonesian Military Academy in The Guerilla Warfare of the Yogyakarta Area, 1948-1949’ and attended by historians from Indonesia and The Netherlands. They talked about the role of Kadet and Perwira Remaja MA-Yogyakarta in World War II, 1948-1949 in Sub-Wehkreise 104/WK-III, Yogyakarta Region.
