The opening of the Bandung 2019 Book Festival as a series of events to commemorate National Education Day 2019, was inaugurated by the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia. General Chairperson Ikapi Jabar Mahpudi said, the Bandung Book Festival this time was different because it was held on April 4-10 2019, ahead of the democratic party on April 17, 2019. “The committee gave the theme: Urang Bandung Democracy Party (not Democracy). This theme was chosen to show the consistency of the management of Ikapi Jabar while still focusing on the mission and vision of the organization to make the book the basis of the nation’s civilization, “he said.
