Achievements in the field of scientific publications that increase continually bringing the reputation of Universitas Gadjah Mada perceived increasingly in both national and international. The award as the best electronic journal manager and as the institution with the most productive publication in Sinta (Science and Technology Index) received by UGM in 2017 could not be separated from the hard work of various parties. This makes UGM become the role model for universities in Indonesia in terms to improve the result of publication research and community service. Visiting Publisher and Publication Agency of UGM for the comparative study of publication improvement strategies became an exciting and knowledge-gathering event.
On Tuesday, 22 March 2018, BPP hosting a visit from the Center for Research and Community Service (P3M) of Politeknik Negeri Indramayu. This visit greeted by the Head of Publication Sub-Section, Siti Uswatun Hasanah, S.T.P., and Head of Journal Sub-Section, Syahrul Fauzi, S.Pt., M.Pd. In the two-hour meeting, there was a warm and interactive discussion related to BPP UGM’s strategy exposure in the effort to improve the reputation of scientific journal and deeper information about scientific publication in UGM, so that it can be used as a suggestion for Politeknik Negeri Indramayu who just started the process of making guidance incentive scheme of publication. Furthermore, communication between Politeknik Negeri Indramayu and UGM is expected to be well established.
