In an effort to improve the quality of the display of UGM journals, the BPP held a standard writing workshop displaying the UGM journal website, on Tuesday, April 30 2019, in the Multimedia I room, 3rd floor of the UGM Central Building targeting IT team members and website admin staff in each journal at Gadjah Mada University.
This workshop presented two speakers from the acceleration team of the UGM journal, namely Sasmita Gandawanti from the Indonesian Dentistry Magazine (MKGI) and Winarsih from the Indonesian Journal of Geography (IJG). In this workshop the first session discussed how to design a website according to standards by including scientific journal requirements such as including journal names, peer review processes, publisher information, editorial boards and peer reviewers, editorial teams and contact information, copyrights and licenses, payment information , publication ethics, publishing schedule, guidelines, subject index, indexing and abstracting.
The second session was presented with editor and reviewer profile editing material by uniforming the profile contents of the editors and reviewers of their respective journals. In the workshop the practice of editing profiles with Google Scholar links, Scopus-ID, ORCHID-ID, Research Gate-ID and CV links and photos from editors and reviewers. It is expected that the implementation of this activity can help admin journals at UGM be able to meet the requirements to be accredited and indexed in the global index database. [Nopi]
