UGM Press received a visit from ITS Press under the coordination of the Business Development and Management Agency (BPPU) of ITS Surabaya. The delegation came to UGM Press in the framework of a comparative study on the development of management of supporting business units by benchmarking with other PTNBH, namely UGM Press, in managing the business of publishing and printing support. The comparative study visit was chaired by the Head of UPT ITS Press, Bambang Tristiyono, S.T., M.Sc., and Head of Administration of BPPU ITS, Sugeng Pranoto, S.H. 
UGM Manager Press, Dr. I Wayan Mustika appreciated the visit of ITS Press. According to him, universities must be prepared to face challenges and opportunities in managing printing and publishing businesses in the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0. Dr. Wayan stressed the importance of the management of printing and publishing management that UGM Press had done in developing academic publishers to being able to produce quality work. “UGM Press seeks to produce quality academic books and references, both nationally and internationally. This year, UGM Press is developing the UGM Press Publishing Information System (SIGAP) to facilitate the management of publishing and printing, “said Dr. Wayan, Thursday (07/25/2019). “SIGAP can provide great benefits for the entire academic community, especially the authors and internal UGM Press to be able to find out the progress of the manuscript and others,” he continued. Meanwhile, the Head of UPT ITS Press, Bambang Tristiyono, S.T., said that his party conducted this comparative study regarding the flow of printing and publishing management that had been carried out by UGM Press as one of the high-quality academic publishers in Indonesia.
