The commitment of Gadjah Mada University in improving the quality and quantity of scientific publications has been stated in various grants for lecturers and students. In this case, the process of conducting a review is the main mechanism that determines the quality of the text. The quality of reviewers is also an important factor in the success of the UGM publication improvement program, which is to produce a large impact article. This workshop aims to help explain and facilitate the process of conducting reviews and our tips for honing these skills. The workshop will discuss:

• Definition, purpose, and usefulness of the review process
• The types of review processes and why you need to consider yourself being a reviewer
• Instructions and tips for doing a correct review
• Glance the online review system
• Ethics in conducting reviews

Participants in this workshop were 50 UGM lecturers who were once reviewers on publication grants at the UGM Publishing and Publication Agency
