Workshop on Capacity Building to Build Good Teamwork at BPP UGM

Saturday, October 30th, 2021, BPP UGM held a self-development workshop for all staff. The activity with the theme “Employee Self-Motivation to Encourage the Development of a Productive Organizational Culture” was attended by all BPP UGM staff online. This activity aims to understand the soft competencies that BPP and UGM Press staff need to have. Through this activity, the staff is expected to understand the importance of increasing employee competence, including knowledge, skills, and attitudes. Specifically, it includes adapting to change, integrity, continuous learning, stakeholder service, teamwork and collaboration, communication, time management, problem-solving, and efficiency targets.

Head of BPP UGM, Prof. Widodo, M.Sc. Ph.D., in his opening remarks, expressed his hope that through this activity, the BPP and UGM Press staff would be able to improve their effective and efficient performance further to support productivity according to the duties and functions of each staff. This activity collaborates with the Human Quality Development Unit (UPKM) of the Faculty of Psychology UGM. Even though the training took place virtually, all participants seemed enthusiastic about participating in the entire series of events.
