Due to pandemic COVID-19, social distancing did not get in the way for BPP UGM to hold training and assistance for civitas academica. BPP UGM held “Webinar SINTA Profile Update for UGM Lecturers” on July 7, 2020. Dr. Purwani Istiana, M. A., the librarian from the Faculty of Geography who is also a member of the UGM Journal Acceleration Team presented as a speaker, and 229 lecturers have participated in this webinar.
SINTA is a web-based research information system which is handled by Kemenristek/BRIN as a database for national scale researcher. SINTA needs the validation for data entry on each author’s profile registered. It is important for the lecturer to own and update the SINTA profile. The data that needs to be updated were department data, academic grade, and the latest educational background. This webinar was held to update the data in SINTA so that it is valid. [Adinda]
