Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) is the research university in Indonesia which is recognized internationally, so that the journal publications had to be taken seriously. Not only concerning the track record of UGM’s academics, BPP also encouraging quantity and quality of scholarly publication, which is SINTA. SINTA (Science and Technology Index) is the portal contained measurement of Science and Technology’s performance involving researcher’s, journal’s, and institution’s performance.

Director General of Research and Development Strengthening from Ministry of Research and Technology/National Research and Innovation Agency 2017 suggests lecturers and researchers to sign up to SINTA account. BPP UGM facilitates the assistant activities for UGM lecturers in accomplishing 100% target of registered account on SINTA. The agenda took place at Multimedia Room 1, UGM Central Building, and attended by Dr. Purwani Istiana, MA from Faculty of Geography’s Library as the speaker. This workshop was aimed to assist a Google Scholar account creation, Scopus ID, and inactivated SINTA account. The workshop was ended up with discussion session about the urgency of lecturers whom have not SINTA account. Ministry of Research and Technology/National Research and Innovation Agency and Universitas Gadjah Mada decides that verified SINTA account as one of the requirements for applying grants and incentive assistant.
